Hire Agreement

Safety Rules & Hire Conditions

1. The hirer is responsible for ensuring safe use of the bouncy castle at all times.
2. A responsible adult must supervise the bouncy castle while it is in use — no exceptions.
3. Unless an adult-specific inflatable has been hired, the castle is for children aged 12 and under. Adults must not use children's castles.
4. Children and adults must not use the bouncy castle at the same time.
5. Do not overcrowd the inflatable. Follow the maximum user guidance based on age and size.
6. Users must not bounce against walls, climb on the sides, or enter or exit recklessly.
7. No food, drinks, chewing gum or messy items are allowed on or near the inflatable.
8. Remove shoes, glasses, jewellery and sharp objects before use.
9. No face paint, silly string, confetti, coloured streamers or party poppers on or near the castle.
10. No smoking, open flames or barbecues near the equipment.
11. No pets are allowed on or around the inflatable.
12. Never bounce on the entrance or exit step, as it is a trip hazard.
13. Help keep the inflatable clean. Excessive mess may result in a cleaning charge.
14. Anyone with neck, back or joint problems, or anyone who is unwell or taking medication, should not use the inflatable.
15. If the castle loses power, switch off the blower at the mains and do not attempt to re-inflate it until it has been inspected.
16. Do not operate the blower during deflation or while the unit is not in use.
17. Keep children away from the blower, cables and electrical equipment at all times.
18. No running or rough play around the outside of the inflatable.
19. If rain begins and there is no cover, switch off the blower and stop use immediately.
20. If the castle becomes wet, towel-dry the surface before use. Minor bubbling is normal.
21. If any equipment appears faulty, stop using it immediately and contact us.
22. Do not tamper with the blower or any electrical parts.
23. The inflatable must be returned clean, dry and undamaged. Excessive mess or damage may incur a fee or loss of deposit.
24. King's Castles Colchester holds public liability insurance. Misuse of the equipment or failure to follow this agreement may affect that cover.
